Key Parameters for Claim Approval 2026

Communication

  • Communication needed to specify nature of claim - prelim or final  

  • Quantity of affected plants must be included in preliminary claim

  • Commentary must be included to describe issues seen, per variety

  • Claims must be separated by week, not grouped together across multiple weeks

Deadlines

  • Preliminary Claims

    • due within 1 week of delivery

    • *for Item codes 96-XX-XXX preliminary claims are due within 48 hours of arrival; final claims due by Thursday of the 3rd week after delivery

  • Final Claims

    • due by Thursday of the 3rd week after delivery.

    • overage must be accounted for in final credit request - net loss

  • Late submissions only allowed in extreme circumstances of reversion, untrue type, excessive mold 

Photos

  • Conceal all company logos in photos

    • *file name should include full variety if item code is not the following layout: 96-XX-XXX

  • Ok to show manufacturer labels

Policies

  • TC placed on a hold by customer request not eligible for Claims

  • Replacements are booked with sales representatives, not the Claims Department

  • Freight/Shipping/Clearance fees are not credited
